iUke - Learn and play ukulele songs App Reviews

App costs too much money

They give you jingle bells for free, but all other songs cost $1 each. Perhaps if they sold packs of songs by theme. Id buy 5-10 classical songs for $2-$3. There are tabs for songs everywhere and plenty without copyrights. The interface did seem nice and fluid, easy to navigate. Excellent software, but the cost seemed to prevent its use, for me, unless i was gonna throw down $20 to even get a feel for playing with the app.

Better than books

I really like being able to play along with the app, being able to practice the strum patterns at different speeds and work my way up and it seems to be a lot easier than the books Ive used. But I wish there were more contemporary songs to choose from and that they werent .99c each. I still give it 4 stars because Im using it more than anything else.

Cool

Its cute and snazzy ^.^

Great app

Great way to learn songs.

TRULY A GREAT APP

Love the strumming and picking practice and playing along with the songs with chords and strumming pattern. Some songs are free and the others 99¢ . Just needs more songs! :)

Ridiculous Songs

The songs they either provide for free, which maybe three, and the songs you have to pay for are all pretty lame. Except for the Leonard Cohen tune. The other major problem for me is that each song has an extremely loud lead keyboard or crappy piano that completely drowns out the sound of the uke. Im not entirely sure one is even being played in any of the songs.

Too few songs

This app has very few songs and many of the ones they have are holiday songs or childrens songs. As far as the concept is concerned, it is very good and well implemented. It would be nice to be able to zoom out on the page so you could see a little more. But, the biggest issue is the lack of songs.

Great Learning App; OK for playing along

Same as everyone else...song support is lacking. I suspect licensing plays a major culprit here. Great app to learn the Uke. I would recommend it highly to anyone who is trying to go at it alone without a teacher.

Love this app

Please keep adding songs!

Great App

Beginner ukulele player and this has all the essential tools and song to make learning the ukulele fun!

App is free but everything on it is not

You have to buy everysong and the tuner too, there are other apps and great youtube turorials for free.

Wonderfully designed

Really a nicely designed app. Great fun to learn for extreme beginners like me. Yes, there should be more songs, but hopefully more are coming soon.

beginner

Amazing for the beginners! Enjoy it!

Best play along exercises

Playing along with the strumming patterns is a great way to get started with the ukulele. Im having much more fun with this app than any of the dozen or so others Ive tried.

Crashes Nonstop

Id give this 5 stars if I could use it for more than twenty seconds. Running most recent iOS version.

Horrible app

Constantly crashes and when you buy music it doesnt register it. Dont make any purchases

Crashes and burns my heart

Seriously love this app. It is set up to teach me exactly the way I learn. And then, Im just about to take it to the next level, and aaaaugh it crashes. Why oh why does it crash? I want to spend lots of money in in app purchases, but the crashes need fixing first.

Great Tool for a beginner like me

This app is the best I have found so far. It really helps you learn how to strum. Great tool for a beginner like me.

Love this app

I love this app its got great potential to help me and my daughter Lear to play the only problem is it has a but keeps shutting it down if this could be fixed then it I would spend money on more of the songs

Awesome but crashes

Contact me and I will gladly purchase this app from you! Its really really good but.... 1. Only app out that not only shows chords and fingering but also includes strum patterns. 2. Take out the bs token and song purchase option or make a paid upgrade. 3. So much potential in this app however developers are way to focused on the " like me on face book and Twitter " options to show popularity so they can sell apps that they lose touch with how great an app can truly be. 4. App crashes annnnd I mean crashes hard! Every time I open the thing and it is just really a shame because this app could be great.
